Study Medicine
Process & Timeframe
On satisfying all the requirements of the Russian Education System, as well as the universities, the student is expected to go ahead with the admission process. The seats are limited and hence are given strictly on a first come first served basis and depend on the final discretion of the university as per the availability and marks in the 12th standard examination.
The student would then have to contact Nission Educational consultants (NEC) to submit all his admission documents along with a registration deposit. Please note that NEC does not require any original documents to be submitted at any time. You need to submit only notary verified and attested copies of all the documents.
All medical students are also required to apply for the eligibility certificate as required by the Medical Council of India, NEC will assist you for applying the same.
The NEC would process the application and then submit the same to the university, for approval and admission.
The university would further process the application and issue a confirmation letter in the name of the student confirming the application and the seat at the university. The student will have to pay the admission processing charges and other incidental expenses to NEC on receipt of the Admission letter.
(In case the student does not have a passport, at the time of application, this letter of admission is useful for him to submit to the passport authorities so that the same can be issued on an urgent basis and to process his/her bank loan.).
On receipt of the admission letter, which is faxed or emailed by the university, the student would be expected to ensure that a copy of first (personal details) page of the passport is submitted at the earliest for the Visa invitation. Visa invitation processing time will be 30 working days from the receipt of copies of passport.
The university normally Couriers the Original Visa invitation to NEC office. Once the visa invitation is ready in our office, the students will be informed to submit their original passports along with a certificate of HIV AIDS ELISA test report. On the basis of these documents Russian student VISA will be stamped in the passport at the nearest Russian embassy, which will take 7 to 10 days from the receipt of original passport by NEC.
The student is expected to complete his packing and make all necessary arrangements to travel as per the date intimated by NEC. He /she should also verify that all the necessary documentation has been completed to be taken
along to the University in Russia.
