Russia is home to some of the world's finest Medical universities. The standard of Medical Education in Russia is considered to be one of the most advanced and sophisticated in the world as every educational institution is well equipped and the teaching methods are well regulated and streamlined providing for an extensive development of students in the chosen specialties.

 

Students, who have earned a Russian Medical university degree, earn a degree that is governed by a standard of higher medical education that is rated to be among the best in the world by UNESCO and WHO.

The system of higher education in Russia is well formulated, advanced and at par with the Western countries. Evaluation of the performance of students is designed in such a way that the progress of students in mastering the subjects, included in the curriculum is monitored objectively and in details. The number of tests and examinations to be taken during every academic year is strictly formulated by the Head of the institution. 

Performance of students in tests is evaluated as ''Passed'' or ''Failed'' and in examinations, as ''Excellent'' ''Good'' ''Satisfactory'' or ''Unsatisfactory''. Students who accumulate a number of arrears in their new academic year are dismissed from their higher educational institutions. The final state examinations are also a very important part of the higher educational assessment process in Russia. These methods constitute a comprehensive evaluation system by which the knowledge and the skills of specialists are brought to light and the qualification obtained then becomes very authentic and invaluable.

Knowledge and the practical skills, received by students, along with the international exposure in these universities, permit them to seek various opportunities in India as well abroad. . 

The academic year starts from September with two semesters per academic year. Students enjoy winter and summer vacation. 

On completion of the under graduate program, the students have the opportunity to do their Post Graduation in Russia, in European countries like FRCS, FRCP etc., in the United Kingdom (on passing PLAB - Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board), in the United States (on clearing USMLE) and in India (on passing the screening test conducted by the MCI -Medical Council of India).
